or as we like to call it The Thirteen Club!
About Our Club
The Thirteen Club is a quarterly wine shipment, hand picked by our very own Sommelier. These exclusively selected wines will not be available to anyone outside of the club. To keep our wine shipment exclusive, we do not offer customizations. Each wine shipment will include three bottles and be shipped out in the months of March, May, September, and December. Additionally, a 15% discount will be given to any members who reorder within 60 days of being billed for the shipment.
Members also receive the benefits of discounted event tickets, complimentary quarterly pickup events, and many more surprises!
The Thirteen Club is a flexible membership with no cancellation fees or minimums. Each wine shipment will total no more than $100 (excluding taxes and shipping). Your credit card will be automatically billed one week prior to pickup or shipment.
How to get your wine SHIPMENT
Catch us at our “pickup event” held quarterly at Vin 13. Wine shipments will be held for seven days. If your wine shipment is still with us seven days after the pickup event ends, it will be automatically shipped to the address on file and charged to your credit card.
We only offer shipping to members within California. For those of you that choose to have your wine shipped, you can expect your wine shipments via flat rate two-day shipping ($22 for Winter and Fall shipments and $50 for Spring and Summer shipments).
To cancel
Send a cancellation email 30 days prior to being billed for the next wine shipment. No refunds or cancellations will be granted after the wine shipment has shipped.

About Our Name
What’s with the name you ask? Well…besides the bar being located on Thirteenth Street… in the late-19th century, a New Yorker named Captain William Fowler (1827-1897) sought to remove the enduring stigma surrounding the number 13 (and particularly the unwritten rule about not having 13 guests at a dinner table). He founded an exclusive society called The Thirteen Club. The group dined regularly on the 13th day of the month in room 13 of the Knickerbocker Cottage, a popular watering hole Fowler owned from 1863 to 1883. Before sitting down for a 13-course dinner, members would pass beneath a ladder and a banner reading “Morituri te Salutamus,” Latin for “Those of us who are about to die salute you.” Four former U.S. presidents (Chester A. Arthur, Grover Cleveland, Benjamin Harrison, and Theodore Roosevelt) would join The Thirteen Club’s ranks at one time or another. We hope to continue the tradition of making thirteen a lucky number for everyone who walks through our doors. You did find us on Thirteenth Street after all!
